Walk in a room

Walk in a room is a funny riddle where you have to find the answer to the riddle “how many legs on the floor”…
The brain-teaser is as follows:

Riddle me this Batman

You walk into a room and see a bed. On the bed, there are 2 dogs, 4 cats, a giraffe, 5 cows and a duck. There are also 3 chickens flying above the bed. How many legs are on the floor?

The answer to the riddle: «You walk into a room and see a bed. On the bed, there are two dogs, four cats, a giraffe, five cows and a duck. There are also three chickens flying above the bed. How many legs are on the floor?» is six legs.

The reason there are six legs on the floor is because all the animals in the room are on the (large) bed.
Just as you enter the room, the chickens fly around in the room. Chickens can not originally fly, but they can over a short distance and that happened just as you entered the room.

So to sum up: There are a total of six legs on the floor.

Since all the animals are on the bed and the chickens are in the air, the only thing left on the floor is you and the legs to the bed.
The bed has 4 legs and with your two there are a total of six legs on the floor.

There are another riddle that says: «You enter a room. 2 dogs, 4 horses 1 giraffe and a duck are lying on the bed. 3 chickens are flying over a chair. how many legs are on the ground?»
You will use the same procedure to find that answer.
